Our Hours Monday through Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM, with both half day and extended day programs available.
Our Locations We proudly serve families in and around Alamance County, North Carolina, and we’re actively expanding to connect with like-minded communities globally. We have a main campus and 40 acres of land to expand our programming.
Our Future Exciting things are ahead for Providence! Our 40-acre property will allow us to expand our vision, offering new opportunities for children and families to learn, grow, and connect with nature. One of our most anticipated projects is our Food Forest, a sustainable, student-involved initiative that will provide hands-on agricultural education while fostering a deep appreciation for God’s creation.

Providence: A Christian Montessori Community
At Providence, we see every child’s journey as part of a bigger story, one shaped by faith and guided by purpose. Rooted in a Biblical worldview, we view the Bible as our roadmap to life. Through Scripture, we find wisdom, guidance, and a calling to “love God and love others.” Here, students learn that they are deeply loved by God, and they are encouraged to reflect that love in all they do. This principle, woven into every lesson and interaction, fosters a safe and nurturing environment where students develop a strong moral foundation alongside their academic growth.
A Christian School As a Christian school, we are committed to supporting each student’s spiritual growth, helping them deepen their understanding of God’s love and their purpose in His world. We believe that “loving God with all your heart, mind, and soul” means actively pursuing excellence, character, and compassion. Although we are not affiliated with any one church, we encourage students to connect and grow within their own local faith communities, building a lifelong foundation of faith that reaches beyond the classroom. We create space for every child to experience the richness of God’s love for all people, guiding them to serve and lead with empathy and humility.
Montessori Education We are proud to be Montessori in both philosophy and practice. Our Montessori-trained educators bring the best of this approach to life, using authentic Montessori materials and guiding students as they explore their individual learning paths. By “following the child,” we foster independence, curiosity, and a joy for learning. Each classroom is a thoughtfully prepared environment where students are free to work at their own pace, engage in hands-on activities, and collaborate in ways that spark critical thinking, creativity, and self-discipline. Christian Montessori Movement
Providence is one of only a handful of Christian Montessori schools in the United States to offer education from early childhood through 12th grade, providing students with a continuous, faith-centered Montessori journey. In the United States, there are approximately 5,000 Montessori schools, about 500 of which are public; however, most Montessori schools in the U.S. are private, serving early childhood through elementary grades, with relatively few extending through high school. Among these, adherence to traditional Montessori principles varies widely.
At Providence, we are deeply invested in expanding the Christian Montessori movement, recognizing its value in nurturing academic, spiritual, and personal growth. By integrating Biblical principles with Montessori methods, we create a unique, nurturing environment where students can develop into compassionate, knowledgeable, and well-rounded individuals ready for lifelong success. We see our role as not only educators but also as advocates for this transformative model and aim to inspire other educators to join us in this meaningful journey.
