How to Enroll
Looking for the right school for your child?
Providence: A Christian Montessori Community strives to ensure that each child, family, and school connection is a strong fit. Our goal is to create lasting relationships that foster success for your child’s education and overall development. Because we are intentional in this process, please note that submitting an application does not guarantee enrollment.
As you begin this process, here are some quick links you may find helpful:
We are excited to guide you every step of the way!
Step 1
Fill out the online application.
There is a $50 application fee, due before all-day visits are scheduled at the school.
Step 2
Sign up and attend our informational online tour.
We prefer both the mother and father of the child attend this on-line tour together if possible and prospective middle and high school students to join as well to connect the family as a whole. Informational tours last about 45 mins.
Step 3
Have a 45 minute child visit and short tour for those preschool age/all day visit for those in elementary and older.
After receiving your application and attending the on-line tour, you and your child may be invited for a short visit and tour of our facilities. Invitations will be sent to the email you used to schedule the on-line tour. Application must be in our portal to schedule this event. All day visits are scheduled for preschool children after their short visit.
Child visits are usually held 10:15- 11:00 am, Tuesday through Thursday for Preschoolers and 8:30am- 3:00pm, on Tuesdays for elementary and older.
Please note that since toddlers develop so quickly and vary in their sensitivities, it may take several visits for us to ensure children are comfortable in our setting. Our goal is to set your child up for success.
Step 4
Attend a desserts and dialogue event.
Come meet the teacher and other families interested in Providence. This is an informal event where we share more of what to look forward to in our school and offers us a chance to ask questions and learn together. (The schedule for these events will be published by Jan 15th.)
Step 5
Invitation to enroll received (and if applicable, financial aid consideration).
Applications go through our Admission Committee. Those submitted by Feb 1st, will be considered for early consideration and notified by March 5th. All applications after that time will be reviewed on a monthly basis. There is a $500 Commitment Advance to hold your child’s spot.
Step 6
Enjoy the benefits of being a Providence Montessori parent.
Welcome! You will begin to receive emails that walk you through the many advantages of being a Providence Parent. Please make sure to read through these and begin the excitement of joining a vibrant community.
