Daily Schedule
At Providence, each day is built around the balance of structure and freedom, giving students the space to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. While we follow a well-established daily rhythm, the experience remains fresh and inspiring because of our diverse learning opportunities—and the many chances for students to be outdoors throughout the day.
We start each day with the rhythm of greeting others and either spending time with friends outdoors or with free choice work. There is a gathering time and reflection before the morning work cycle. This period allows students to dive into core academic skills in a way that’s tailored to their individual needs. Whether they receive small group lessons with the teaching guides, collaborate with peers, seek guidance from mentors, or focus on independent study, students have the flexibility to learn where and how they’re most comfortable. Students govern their time, ensuring their learning is both effective and enjoyable. Accountability for time and learning becomes the norm as they mature in the program.
Throughout the week, we hold class meetings where students are empowered to discuss ways to improve the classroom environment, teaching leadership and respect for their peers. In the afternoons, we switch to hands-on projects that bring learning to life. Whether it’s art, music, history, or personal explorations, this time nurtures creativity and critical thinking.
With ample time spent outdoors and engaging with nature, our learners are constantly active, both physically and mentally. At Providence, we provide the environment for children to grow into strong leaders, deep thinkers, and lifelong learners—all within a nurturing, Christ-centered atmosphere.
