Our Future

Education Goals at Providence

Our overarching goal is to provide an education that follows the child, nurtures their faith, and equips them for life beyond the classroom. We believe in:

  • Mastery Learning – Ensuring students deeply understand and apply knowledge, not just memorize and move on.
  • Leadership Development – Raising confident, capable leaders who know their purpose and can make an impact.
  • Whole-Child Growth – Prioritizing social-emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and character formation.
  • Faith Integration – Teaching students to love God, love others, and see their education as a part of their calling.

Providence in 5-10 Years

In the next decade, we envision Providence as:

  1. A Model for Christian Montessori Education – A school that inspires other faith-based learner-driven communities.
  2. A Full Preschool-to-College Experience – Expanding our adolescent and young adult programs so students can grow with us from their earliest years into independent adulthood.
  3. A Self-Sustaining Learning Ecosystem – Where students engage in entrepreneurial ventures, agriculture, and community service as part of their education.
  4. A Thriving Hub for Parent & Educator Coaching – Supporting families and school leaders nationwide in building transformative learning environments.

The Role of the Food Forest, Our Newest Campus/Community Project

The food forest is central to our vision because it:

  • Teaches Real-World Skills – Students learn permaculture, sustainability, and business by managing the land.
  • Promotes Independence & Stewardship – They gain responsibility and an appreciation for God’s creation.
  • Provides Nourishment – It ensures fresh, healthy food for our school community.
  • Supports Entrepreneurship – Students can grow, harvest, and sell produce, reinforcing financial literacy and leadership.

Most importantly, the food forest will serve as a micro-model of what we envision for our 40-acre property on Pond Rd. It’s the first step in developing a self-sustaining, learner-driven ecosystem where education, faith, and hands-on work come together. On a larger scale, this vision includes:

  • Expanding regenerative agriculture to provide food, business opportunities, and environmental stewardship.
  • Creating space for students to launch projects in farming, trade skills, and sustainability.
  • Developing a retreat-style learning community where students, parents, and educators experience a fully immersive Christian Montessori environment.

The food forest is more than just a garden—it’s a seed of something much bigger: a place where Providence students learn to cultivate the land, their faith, and their futures.
