Biltmore Estates

To support our study of North Carolina history this year, our elementary class families took a field trip to Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC. Students learned about the history and logistics of running a 125,000 acre estate. They also got to see up close the equipment used at the turn of the century, see the ways the land and animals sustained the estate and even to try their hand at grape stomping.
