Amber Daves

My name is Amber Daves, I’m a human mom to my daughter Elainea. I am a fur mom to my dog DJ. I spend 100% of my free time being a mother. As a family we like to travel, swim, & roller skate. I enjoy documentaries, being outside, and coloring. I grew up in a southern Baptist home. My granny took me to church every time we could go. That is a memory I will never forget!

I have spent 17 years working with children and families . I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with children in various capacities. I have worked in a Reggio Emilia inspired school. During my time there, I experienced such wonderful joy. I learned to teach in an outdoor environment, at the park, and even utilize a tree as a classroom. I spent time as an office manager/assistant director during my years at TLS. I am well versed in everything from management to diaper changing. I have spent time as a nanny and caregiver as well.

I plan to continue my education in the summer. Expanding my brain is my goal for this year. My dream is to earn a masters in education. I also wish to obtain formal Montessori certification.

I am so blessed to have joined the Providence family. I believe the Christian values Providence embraces is like no other. It is an amazing sound to hear prayer in school! It feels more like home than school!
