Heather Jordan
Hi, my name is Heather Jordan. I am the wife of Danny and mother to five awesome children, Xander, Tobi, Analea, Ember, and Evalise. I was born in 1988 in Jacksonville, NC and I’ve been in the Alamance County area since I was 7. Born and bred Tarheel. I enjoy art and getting creative. I also love books of all kinds, but especially science fiction and fantasy. The biggest thing in the life of my family is God and our church, World of Pentecost. I am a Sunday school teacher there, my husband is the soundman and my kids are on the Bible Quiz team.
I have been a part of the Providence family in a few different ways over the last 15 years. First as a primary assistant, then primary teacher, next an elementary teacher and during that time a Montessori parent as well. I absolutely love Montessori and the hands on approach it takes towards education. Following the child just makes sense.
Over the last couple of years I have stayed home and enjoyed homeschooling and creating various things in my side business. However, teaching has always been my passion. I am so glad I have been able to come back and teach in the elementary program and get to know all of the wonderful children and families.
