Marilyn Massey

Hello Everyone, My name is Marilyn Massey. I am originally from Long Island, New York. I moved to North Carolina in Sept. 2006. I used to miss New York (especially during the holidays), but now I have come to love North Carolina. I have been married for more than 40 years to my husband, Algie. We have 3 grown children (2 boys, 1 girl), 7 grandchildren (3 boys, 4 girls) and a great granddaughter Nova who was born in 2018, who is also a part of the Providence Family.

I enjoy reading, word games, the beach and spending time with family and friends. I attend the church at World of Pentecost and it is an important part of my life. My position at the school is teacher’s asst. I work in the toddler’s class and with the primary students. Some of the things I like best about my job are all the hugs I get from the children. I enjoy working with them and seeing their smiling faces.I especially like the peaceful atmosphere and the hands-on learning. The children get to see, hear, and do the work as they are being taught. It’s a special place.
